You can do duels with any npcs you encounter by very slightly pushing the RT button or whatever is PS's equivalent to RT.

ive been watching videos of people benchmarking games with their specs, so i thought i have a go at the genre with my pc. i think playing rdr2 at native 4k with these hardware is good, its not always above 60fps but thats okay for this type of game. with a better cpu you could stay above 60fps, the graphics card is great though! just rdr2 for now, other games seem to have issues with shadow pla...

i used this A LOT in my recent second playthrough and most of the time they dont "duel" you like they did in this video. most of the time they either dont notice, start running or start shooting like normal and not in a duel way
